Gabe was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. On a word from the Lord, his immediate family moved to Lubbock, Texas, in 2011. He was introduced to radical obedience and living the life of faith at an early age, which has shaped the way he lives today.
After graduating High School, Gabe attended Bible school at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries. After receiving his degree in 2021, Gabe continued his journey in the marketplace, working in finance.
Gabe met his beautiful wife, Lauren, in 2020. They were married in 2021 and started their family right away. Shortly after, the Lord called Gabe and Lauren to relocate back to Lubbock. They began establishing their roots in Lubbock and joined Encounter church.
Gabe burns with passion for the Gospel. He believes that this message of Jesus Christ & Him crucified IS the power of God that the Bride needs in this hour. He desires to see the Body of Christ built up in Jesus, and live alive and in awe of who God is.
After being born and raised on Long Island, New York the Lord sent Lauren to attend Christ for the Nations Institute in 2016. She graduated with a heart on fire for Jesus and stepped into full time ministry, beginning her ministry journey where she served the school in the Academics & Women’s Department. The fire in Lauren’s heart that burns for discipleship was established here.
After marrying her husband Gabe in 2021, the young family moved to Lubbock where they are raising Joshua and Noelle in the presence of the Lord.
As a stay at home mom and as one who has traveled the globe through short term missions, Lauren recognizes the importance of the Gospel not only for the lives of the unreached but in the life of her own home.
Shannon is originally from Lubbock, Texas, and after spending five years serving with YWAM across Mexico and Europe, she felt the Lord calling her back home to serve in full-time ministry. During those years, God cultivated in her a deep love for the nations, a heart for the unreached, and a growing conviction that the Great Commission can be fulfilled in our lifetime.
More than anything, Shannon is passionate about seeing people come alive to the gospel and discover who God created them to be. She loves walking alongside others as they grow in intimacy with Jesus, step into their calling, and live lives fully surrendered to Him.
Whether she’s investing in students, sharing over a cup of coffee, or telling stories of what God is doing around the world, her desire is the same: to point people to Jesus and help others know Him more deeply. She is especially excited to do life with students who long to know nothing but Christ and Him crucified, believing that transformed lives are the starting point for transformed cities, nations, and generations.
Adam was born and raised in Muleshoe, Texas. After graduating high school, he moved to Lubbock to attend Lubbock Christian University, where he studied for a year and a half. During that season, while attending Encounter Ministry School, Adam felt a deeper call from the Lord. Through prayer and the conviction of the Holy Spirit, he stepped away from pursuing a traditional degree to give himself fully to the call of God on his life.
Adam now serves on staff at Encounter Ministry School, where he helps advance the Gospel through media.
Adam’s heart burns for evangelism and for seeing the Body of Christ discipled into maturity. He believes the Gospel is the power of God for salvation and that every follower of Jesus is capable
