GENERAL

  • What is EMS’s school year calendar?

    • Our full-time track classes begin September 11. Our part time track classes begin September 9. Both track classes conclude in April.

  • Is EMS accredited?

    • At this time EMS is not accredited.

  • Can I receive college credit for EMS?

    • At this time you cannot receive college credit for EMS.

  • What is the first semester retreat?

    • As a full-time student, you’ll kick off the year with an unforgettable overnight retreat designed to help you connect deeply with your classmates and EMS directors. This time away is all about stepping into community, encountering the presence of God, and laying a strong spiritual foundation for the year ahead. Through shared meals, powerful times of worship, and space to simply be together, this retreat sets the tone for a year of transformation.

  • What is the minimum or maximum age to attend EMS?

    • Our minimum age for EMS is 18 years old. Exceptions are made periodically. We do not have a maximum age limit for EMS!

  • Is there a discount for family?

    • There is not discount for family attending EMS at this time.

ADMISSIONS

  • When is the application deadline?

    • The application deadline is August 30, 2025.

  • How much is the application fee?

    • The application fee is $25.

  • If I decide not to attend EMS after applying can I receive a refund for my application fee?

    • No, we do not issue refunds for applications.

FINANCES

 

  • What does tuition cover?

    • Full time tuition covers the cost of all classes, books required, retreat and EOY tickets. Part time tuition covers the cost of all classes and books required.

  • Does EMS offer scholarships?

    • Yes, please email info@encounterministryschool.com to inquire about scholarship opportunities. Scholarships are limited and do not always cover the entirety of tuition.

  • Does EMS offer payment plans?

    • Yes, EMS offers payment plans for both full time and part time tracks. Payment plan options include month to month installments or 4 installments from September – March.
